As Thomas Weski states in William Eggleston. Democratic Camera 1961-2008 Eggleston's impetus for taking pictures for a project often came from being in a particular place and being in the company of friends on excursions. Eggleston laid out photographs in workbooks, such as the one offered here, arranged with drawings on facing pages. His photographic images became more abstract and in these workbooks he combined them with some drawings which are often colorful and executed quickly in highlighter and other color pens, giving them bold and bright colors. – Portrait photo with traces of use, otherwise most photos in very good condition.
