Dear Friend of L.A. Galerie,
before the big events in Venice and Basel, we would like to draw your attention to some exhibitions that might interest you.
OLIVER BOBERG
His solo exhibition at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in the San Francisco will be open through June 26th. Currently, he is also showing his works in group shows in the Casino Luxembourgh in Luxembourg (there's a catalogue worth reading, too) and at the Kuenstlerhaus in Vienna. Also, he works hard at his second image from the new "Seite/Side" series. The bad news is that they are quite large - thus, nothing for people with small walls. And there is no edition in a small format. For everybody with an interest in studying the Basque language, we recommend his catalogue from his last solo exhibition in San Sebastian (in Basque Donostia), Spain.
TAIJI MATSUE
He is showing his work in a solo-exhibition at the Stiftung Museum Schloss Moyland better known as Beuys Archive, until August 21st. So beside the many hundreds of Beuys works the young Japanese artist is Showing works that he did in many years with desert like landscapes and cityscapes.
NAOYA HATAKEYAMA
He had so many exhibitions in the last months, including important biennials that it was hard to count.
At the “Unlimited” section of the Art Basel 2005 he is showing a new unique work with approx 100 photos, called (like the exhibition) “Unlimited 1989…”
It is the third variation of this works that is growing each some years and shows a view over Tokyo and how the city is changing.
TRACEY MOFFATT
Her last series from ten different images “Adventures” 2004 is still displayed at The World is a Stage, Mori Art Museum, Tokyo until June 19th and at the Sharjah International Biennial 7, Sharjah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates until June 6th.
And she works at a wonderful new series!!!!!!!
PETER BIALOBRZESKI
After his very successful series “Neontigers” he is preparing a new body of works called “Heimat”: l34 different photos with an impression of German landscapes. This more conceptual works finds a lot of attention under the curators and collectors. The second edition of the “Neontigers” books is close to be sold out and the book “Heimat” will be in print from autumn 2005.
At L.A. Galerie Frankfurt we are showing his “Neontigers” until July 9th 2005 but we have some examples from the “Heimat” on hand. All “Heimat” photos will be displayed next year.
JOHANNES FRANZEN
Is showing his computer based works from the “1024 x 768” series in Prague at the Biennail of Contemporay Art.

ROBERT F. HAMMERSTIEL
