Parallel to his architectural studies in Paris (1973-1979), Patrick Tosani developed his work in photography in 1976, addressing questions of space and scale. The photographic process and its potential and limits as well as the relationship to reality are constantly questioned in his work in series on objects, the body, clothing, etc. For more than thirty years, he has been regularly exhibited in France and abroad, notably at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London (1987), the Art Institute of Chicago (1992), the Palais des Beaux-Arts of Charleroi (1994), the Museum Folkwang of Essen (1997), the Musée Nicéphore-Niépce of Chalon-sur-Saône (1998), the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris (2011) and the Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea, Cinisello Balsamo, Milan (2016). – In very good condition.
