Language, material, light and shadow are the ingredients of the work by Belgian artist Fred EERDEKENS (* 1951) that form his characteristic sculptural objects and installations. By adding light these art pieces are made alive: they cast shadows onto different surfaces and transform themself into words and fragments of texts - poetic shadow plays, which thematize the ambiguity of language.
